Medellín innovations amid the pandemic

There are several challenges the world is facing today in the prevention and mitigation of the COVID-19 pandemic, challenges that Medellín assumes faithful to its premise to be a resilient and an innovative city. Working in coordination with the  public and private sectors providing  solutions to citizens that thanks to its high sense of belonging shows self-care and solidarity. Human right violations in Colombian social mobilizations

  Colombian society reached its peak due to the tributary reform that was going to be implemented by Ministry of Hacienda , a  proposed a tax reform, that  is necessary for the country, since its main objective is the generation of employment and the reduction of inequality,  seeking to improve the distribution of income, tax burden favoring lower-income Colombians, but this proposed reform aimed  to raise a total of more than 23 billion pesos, but with this strategy the people disagreed, as this reform proposed VAT for the family basket, communication technologies services, among others.  This caused discomfort and preocupation among the Colombians, because there was a sentiment in citizens that the governments were not addressing problems that have been occuring in the country for many years, such as excesive use of violence by the police, woman mistreatment and abuse, inequality, sexual assaults, rape, terrorism in which lage social mobiliztions happened...

  The following is an interview I performed to my mother, she is a physician and curently is treating geriatric patients and covid patients by providing in home presential treatment and by telemedicine aswel, this interview has the objective of informing from a critic point of view of the experiences and procedures that professionals use daily  and recommend for ourselves to be safe and healthy.

My experience in the pandemic

Hello, welcome to my blog... Here you can find my experiences as an international business student while being in a pandemic. I'm Ismael, and I'm coursing 7th semester of  bachelor's in international business. To start, in this blog I will be telling my direct experience with Covid-19 and analizing the impacts this disease is having around the world  Institutions in Colombia and  around the world have had to be innovative and adapt the way they teach and deliver classes over the last year. EAFIT University has introduced a new hybrid learning model which allows students to attend class in-person and online. I see the university as a vanguardist institution in the adoption of prevention measures as soon as COVID-19 cases were happening in Colombia and Medellín. The University clearly attached to their ruling principle of  "mutuo cuidado" which lead to the implementation of virtual classes by using technological resources and invested in the adecuation of the camp...
